Easter Bunny Arrives at Ocean County Mall

The Easter Bunny and the Simon Kidgits Club will team up with Despereaux, the little mouse with the big heart, to make this an Easter season the whole family will remember at Ocean County Mall. The Easter Bunny is a revered tradition at Ocean County Mall and this year is no exception. Everyone is invited to visit the floppy-eared friend who will be on-mall offering professional photos between Wednesday, March 18 and Saturday, April 11. As an added treat, Simon Kidgits Club members will have an opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the mall on Saturday, April 4 from 9:00 through 10:00am reservations are requested. Please call (732) 244-8201 to register. Admission to the breakfast is $5 for Simon Kidgits Club members and $10 for non-members, which includes a $5 one-year membership to the Simon Kidgits Club. All proceeds benefit the Simon Youth Foundation. This year, the Easter Bunny is joined by the legendary Despereaux, the heroic little mouse who embarks on a noble quest that leads to discovery, courage, honor and ultimately redemption in the all-new animated adventure, The Tale of Despereaux, available on DVD and BLU-RAY" HI-DEF on April 7, 2009 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The Simon Kidgits Club will be hosting a spring event on Saturday, April 11 where children can watch preview scenes from The Tale of Despereaux DVD, receive custom coloring sheets and win great prizes, including a Tale of Despereaux lunch pail, compliments of Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Kids can also make their own Despereaux ears as part of a special activity. Also, Ring Around the Rosie Pre-School and Day Care of Island Heights, NJ will be on-hand during the spring event on April 11th to provide fun activities for kids and donate a brand new bicycle, which will be given away at the conclusion of the event. Based on the best-selling childrens best selling book and featuring the incredible voice talents of Matthew Broderick, Emma Watson, Dustin Hoffman, Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Kline, William H. Macy, Tracy Ullman and Stanley Tucci, The Tale of Despereaux has something for everyone in a heartwarming and timeless story about finding ones place in the world.
